so we're here in this country with this terrible tragedy in connecticut. we've got our backs against the wall financially. the world is more dangerous than any time i've seen since i've been in government. but i want to end this optimistically -- there's nothing we can't do as a people and a state if we continue to work together. remember, we're a blessed nation. there's no substitute for american leadership. and when it comes to trying to explain what america is all about, i can't tell a better story than tim scott. tim is what america is all about.
